record a voice memo buy just holding down the button

how do i record a voice memo buy just holding down the home button or any iPhone 6 button? do not want to turn on phone just want to hold a button say something and have it recorded. an have the recording end when i release the button.

You cannot use the iPhone to record voice memos without first powering it on and then using the voice memo app or an equivalent.

Using the app Launcher, I can pull down the notification center on the lock screen and tap the voice memo widget and go straight to the voice memo app. That's about as quick as it gets.
