Why whatsapp had this thing?

I was randomly watching my whatsapp contact list, and I pressed one, for which I am asure that doesn't have my number, because i recently changed it and when I opened chat, on the chatlist there was blank chat of that number with that yellow end-to-end encryption. My question is did that person recieved some message from me even though i did not type anything ??? I really would not like that that person knows I entered her whatsapp profile to see it
