for voice quality, which carrier is best for an iPhone 6?

Right now we are using Tricket to "broadcast" a class over the iPhone 6 to a conference call line. People are complaining the sound is muffled.

Welcome to iMore! That's really dependent on where you're located. In my area Verizon is king. If you're really trying to make a noticeable difference in audio clarity you may want to look at using a Bluetooth microphone or headset instead of trying to broadcast directly through the iPhone mic.
