When connected to BT headset.......................

Both my iPhone 6 and my BT headset ring on an incoming call. The problem with this is that when someone's calling me, the BT headset is giving me a list of commands to choose from but I can't hear what it's saying due to my iPhone ringing also which I have to have ringtone volume on max because I work in a noisy environment.

What I'm asking is this: is there a way to set only the headset to ring when connected to my iPhone rather than both ringing?

I have tried settings/general/accessibility/call audio routing and set to Bluetooth headset but when I get an incoming call when connected to my BT headset, they both still ring!

Have you tried putting the phone on vibrate and see if that works for you.

I haven't but am aware that this is an option. I don't remember having this problem with earlier versions of IOS. I definitely remember just the headset ringing when connected to my iPhone. i just paired the headset and when I had a call just the headset would ring! Ho hum!! Perhaps it's an IOS 9 thang?

I would agree with the muting option. Other than that, I'm not sure what could be done.
