How to delete pics permanently?

Is there any way to delete pics permanently ? so that they don't end up in trash folder but get deleted permanently as they use to in earlier ios versions ??

The "recently deleted" album was added because so many people would delete photos by mistake. This album is like a catch all so if one is deleted my mistake, it can be retrieved. You will have to delete there as well as on the camera roll. I like the feature.

I actually didn't even know there was a trash for photos. Do they stay in trash forever (until I delete them from there) or do they go away after like 30 days or something?

I think they stay in recently deleted about 30 days, then they self delete permanently.

They'll delete after 30 days but you can clear them too if you deleted to save space.

I honestly forget about it until the question comes up. The only real way to turn it off

There was a tweak in Cydia that deleted photos permanently. I think it was called NoRecentlyDeleted. I don't know if it's still available. But you would need to jailbreak.
