Why isn't my iPhone 6 charging?

my iPhone 6 isn't charging

my phone is on 5% battery and i want to charge so it dose not die and i've put the lead in the charging socket and its not charging and now my phones totally dead !

Welcome to iMore! Try plugging it into a different outlet. If that doesn't work try swapping out the lightning cable and charger. If none of those options work then you probably have a hardware problem with your iPhone.
