I'm curious regarding any specific takeaways on battery life coming from Android. I've got Droid Turbo right now, but am strongly considering switching to an iPhone 6 plus. My biggest concern is battery life.
I use both the Turbo and 6 Plus. I find the 6 Plus has better battery for me, especially in standby. I could go 2.5 days on a charge but I'm a bad use case. With my Turbo I have 3 launchers downloaded so I mess around with that a bit in my downtime. There is not an Android Central App for ios and I spend quite a bit of time in that app on my Turbo. I would spend more time there on the iPhone but the Mobile Nations websites are beyond terrible so I refuse to visit the Web pages.
-Connections both wifi and cellular on better on my Turbo. Especially wifi range.
-As much as I like SwiftKey on Android I'm much more accurate with the iPhone stock keyboard.
-Camera goes to the iPhone no question. I left my Turbo at home when my family went on vacation. I got some great pics especially with my kids being active and moving in many of the shots.
-iOS is still a more smooth experience to me. That os just flows like water, lollipop on the Turbo still snags and hangs especially in the recent apps menu for me. I can't say I've had a problem with lagging or app reloading on the 6 Plus. It is not something that has come up in the 5 months I've had it.
Both are really good phones, which is why I use both. I like stock Android and I'm plenty productive with it. Tried the Note 4 but there was just too much going on for me, great display and camera though. I think you will enjoy the 6 Plus, it is a great device.
