Why can't I hear a caller on my iPhone 6?

can't hear caller on iphone 6 help

Can I turn up the sound on my brand new iphone 6 myself or is this as good as it gets?

I see I am not the only one. I'm 88 and I don't want to walk around with ear plugs over my shoulder.

The maximum volume isn't loud enough? Do you use hearing aids?
