Verizon offering $200 off iphone 6 with new edge line addition

Just ordered 64GB iphone 6 on edge, $549 total retail after coupon. Shipped already and will be here tomorrow. Did anyone else get this verizon promo and take advantage? I might not even open it and sell it for full retail on ebay.

Well I bought my iPhone6 at bestbuy and I'm on Verizon and only paid 300 for the 128 gb and still loving it.

Yeah, but you're paying $40/month line access since I'm guessing you paid the 2 year contract price. With Edge, I pay retail for the phone over 24 months with no upfront costs. $22/month for the device but then get a $25/month credit for that edge line of service. So you paid $300 more upfront and $3 more per month. $372 total more.

Maybe so but mine is also a 128 gb phone. And it's only 30 Dollars a month for the data plan and 70 a month for unlimited txt and 1400 mins.

I can sell my current phone for 200 too, so I'm still making out $200 to the plus. Anyhow, was just curious if anyone else got the offer. I guess I'd get a better response on other sites, since this apple forum seems to be dying.

No offense, but the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are now almost 8 months old with the new versions likely a mere 4 months away. Many of our members have had either the 6 or 6 Plus for a while now, and many others are likely holding off for Sept. Perhaps before faulting this site as 'dying', consider the nature and applicability of your question.
