How do I restore an iPhone 4s (iOs 8.2) to a iPhone 6 (iOs 8.1.2)?

iPhone 4s (iOs 8.2) restore to iPhone 6 (iOs 8.1.2). How? Please help.

My Iphone 4s was updated to iOs 8.2 and I just did a back up. I bought a new Iphone 6 which has an iOs 8.1.2. When I am trying to restore my old iphone account to my new iphone, it tells me that "No icloud backups are compatible with the version of ios (8.1.2) on this iPhone. Please help.

You need to update the new phone. Back-ups are not backward compatible.

Like stated above set the new phone up as a new phone update then wipe it and restore from your 4s backup

Itunes save backups. Go to iTunes > Preferences > Device (Im not sure) than take a look backups by date and time. Delete new one.
