Why is the channel list and any movie I watch too large for the screen?

The channel list and any movie I watch is too large for the screen.

The channel list and any movie I watch is too large for the screen.The movie I watched was fine until a few minutes went by and the apple app on my I6 phone screen started jumping around. I tried to shut it off but the app wouldnt work & it just kept moving.Eventually i just shut the power off so that pb solved. However when i tried to view the tv the next time the channel choices were formatted as if for a larger screen. How do I reduce the size or properly format the size to refit my screen?
