The MIC on my EarBuds is causing playback to skip (hiccup).

I already exchange it thinking the 3.5mm jack was defective.

Tonight its basically useless, I can't use my iPhone at work since it's loud.

I feel like back in the day listening to portable CD players with anti-skip or shock.

1. Did you exchange the EarPods or the iPhone 6?
2. Have you tried using a pair of non-Apple earphones to see if the problem persists or not?
3. What do you mean you "...can't use your iPhone at work because it's loud"?
