Purchasing on Amazon

First time iPhone buyer here,

Does anyone have any knowledge on when the new iPhones become available for purchase on Amazon? If the wait is too long, I was wondering if it would be better just to buy from Apple directly.

Any help is much appreciated.

I don't think Amazon wireless department will be selling the iPhone. They don't even sell them currently. Sellers who use Amazon fulfilment sells the iPhone currently and you will be able to purchase them from a reseller on Amazon once they are posted
