Well it depends. The subsidy is $450 for an iPhone and that is spread out over 24 months, so about $20/mo. Are europeans paying $20/mo less for their cell phone service on average than US residents after you factor in exchange rates, etc.?

Idk, but you would have to know to know whether or not they get a better deal over all than we do.

In the States, I would guess the base units will be $199 - $249 on contract. The 32Gb units will be an additional $100, and the 64Gb unit will be $100 on top of that. If the recent rumors are correct and the 64Gb model does come sapphire display then who knows, $449 - $499? That is even to say if the 64Gb models are even subsidized by the carriers.

They are saying that the models will go like this:

16 GB:$199/$649
64 GB:$299/$749
128 GB:$399/$849

I think this is how it will end up being this year.

This is where I got the rumor of them keeping the 16, then ditching the 32 and skipping to 64, and adding 128 GB:

This actually makes sense though. Apple's profit margins will be higher than ever for the low-end model which many people will buy, plus they won't have to supply 32 of base storage. I know if it came with 32 GB stock I wouldn't upgrade. That is enough. 16 is too limited, so therefore I am inclined to purchase the next higher model, the 64 GB, and spend the extra $100

Forgot about that, thanks for the info. For the most part, I want to upgrade from the 5C for the fingerprint feature. 16 may be a bit to limiting as well but I will be on a budget (i put on myself) and I will go the unlocked route. So pending on the prices, I might have to go the 5S route, which is fine.

I would be surprised if they don't drop the 16 GB and just have 32 GB to 128 GB. It is just a feeling.
