Iphone 6 plus audio jack is not working when earpod is plugged in but its working fine with speaker

When I plug in earpod or any earphones to my iphone 6 plus, there is no audio output.
but when I unplug the earphone and put it in speaker mode audio is working fine.
Please let me know what's the issue.

Welcome to iMore! There's probably debris jammed up inside your headphone jack. Try blowing it out with some compressed air.
