How long should it take for my new iphone 6+ to download photos?

it is restored from iTunes and working fine. It is just taking what seems like a long time to download the photos. I only have 186 photos and only about half of them have downloaded in 24 hours. Shows downloading with spinning wheel at the bottom of albums page. How long should I wait before trying something else?

That is pretty slow. You could have a bad internet connection.
