Dim Videos?

Hi, everyone!

With my iPhone 6 Plus, another thing I noticed with the native camera app is the dim videos..

Basically, under the same light conditions, the videos would have a darker brightness than the photos.

I have also sent this to Apple via Feedback app. Based on what I've read, it's due to iOS capping the ISO (Sensitivity) limit on videos.

I'll attach two screenshots later for reference, since iMore app can't really attach on the post itself.

Photo mode. No problem with it. This is near the true brightness of the room.


Notice the drastic change in brightness. The photos were not altered in any manner, and the brightness of the room remained the same. I don't believe that iPhone cameras can't handle this kind of "dim" light.

This is what I meant! It's exactly the same problem, just with iPhone 6 Plus.
