Why can't I send contacts through SMS?

Can't send contacts through SMS.

Hi, i own an Iphone 6 Plus, i encountered a problem trying to send a contact through SMS to a friend and was wondering if anyone could give me a solution.
I tried to send it by going to contacts, and just press "Send Contact" and then SMS, but then in SMS windows, it shows the usual red "!" and never arrives. Any Help?

You could have an issue with your carrier's SMS services.

nope i even checked with the provider, i can send/recieve sms/mms.. i just cant send or recieve contacts for some reason :s

do you have a data plan or on wifi ?
have you tired a hard reset or and reset network settings ?

tried on both wifi and data, wont work.
yes i tried resetting the network settings.. not a hard reset though..

Disable and enable iMessage in settings. It's worth a shot
