IPhone 6+ with MoviePro and Moment Lens or Olliclip Lense

Love the iPhone 6+ for video and photo and use the MoviePro app for video. Most of my videos are High School and AAU Basketball. I am able to sit floor level at mid court, or a few rows up with a tripod. I don't have to take video from the top of the bleachers. The MoviePro Zoom works pretty well. If I add a Moment/Olliclip lens, and dont use the zoom feature in MoviePro will my video quality be better than not using the add on lens and using the MoviePro zoom feature.

I am no pro photographer, but any digital zoom will be worse than using optics to zoom.

This. Physical lens trumps digital zoom 10 times out of 10.

I own the Moment Lens and can tell you that they are fantastic. I especially like the way they attach.
