My LED wont flash when checked for "Flash for Alerts"

Please advise

Try rebooting your iPhone and then have someone send you a text/iMessage. Go back to Settings - General - Accessibility and make sure that the toggle button is enabled next to "LED Flash for Alerts".

Have you got "Allow Notifications" turned on for what you want the alert for?

Someone on this thread said if you reboot the phone it disabled the flash alert, even if it's toggled on. Said turn it off then back on.?

I'm having the same issue. Tried what's been suggested. Only difference is I still have the 5S.

The LED alert may only flash when the phone is asleep. And some are reporting that it only works with their iP 6 if "Show on lock screen" is toggled on. IDK?

That was it. Turned on "show on lock screen" and the LED flashed.

Except many people don't want their messages showing on the lock screen for anyone to look and see. I don't see that an issue though.
