Facebook pictures disappearing on IOS 8.1.1

When I post a picture on Facebook, or when someone messages me a photo using FB Messenger, the pictures show up initially and then disappear within 24 hours. The associated posts are still there, but I can no longer see the picture on my 6+. Others can still see them.

When I check my iPad, which is still on IOS 7, all the pictures are where they should be. Anyone else with this problem?

Check your Facebook online in Safari. Just log in. See if the photos are there. If so, then it's the Facebook app. And it happens on Messenger too? The Messenger app? Or messages in the Facebook app?

In any event, try deleting the Facebook app, then reinstall it. Let us know if that works!
