I installed it about 30 minutes ago on my 6+ , things to be a bit smoother now. I originally turned off the screen rotation to improve performance before this update. Now it's back on and things run smoother with the rotation... Hard to explain ... Give it a shot .

I noticed the improvement in screen rotation as well. My 6 plus does appear to be slightly faster as well.

Nice update. My iPad 2 doesn't lag at passcode input. Multi gesture seem smoother.

Updated. It's smooth.
Rotation is definitely better
Keyboard though seems slightly bigger?? Might be just my opinion.

IMore is much faster and smooth. And texts no more look blown up.

Same carrier but internet speed seems better.

No complaints so far. As others have said, it does seem to be smother.

Altogether after testing it and comparing with a 6+ still on 8.1, no major changes. Double clicking to pull up other apps is definitely a bit quicker, rotation was actually no quicker. Despite others saying Safari was snappier, in my tests it performed exactly the same as the 6+ on iOS 8.1

8.1.1 killed my iPad2. It was very slow on 8.0.1. Now I can't even pull up a web page, regardless whether with Safari or Chrome. I am lost, I though 8.1.1 was flat out aimed at A5 users.
