Yeah it depends on how you actually use your phone. I have 2 emails synced all the time. I run two businesses, doing a bunch of emails each day on both. I do a lot of browsing on safari, a little bit of music but not a lot and check my social apps a good amount. I usually get about 8hrs usage and 24hrs standby on a charge. It's very good with the amount of actual screen time I put on it.

Is this considered good battery life for the Plus?

How is this even possible? I've played music through Bluetooth maybe 15 minutes so far today. My usage time should not be the same as standby. And 3 hr 46 min with 5% loss? This past week I have been experiencing faster battery drain and the phone getting warm after just 5 minutes of continuous use a few days after upgrading to iOS 8.1.3 with a backup. I then restored as new with iOS 8.1.3, didn't help. Restored back down to iOS 8.1.2 as new and still no improvement. Last night I restored as new with iOS 8.1.3 again, no improvement. I finally restored a backup after all these shenanigans and seeing how it goes. I'm thinking a replacement is in order.

SIM-free iPhone 6 plus 64gb. The two previous 6 plus' I had didn't have battery problems..



Edit/update: I rebooted the phone and recharged to 100%. The usage time isn't sticking with the standby now. I'll update on the battery drain at end of day. I also should let you know that I noticed the battery drain and phone getting warm while on wifi. Which is odd to me.

Switched from an iPhone 5s to a 6+... Its my first iPhone that lasts me a whole day! Awesome!

I think it is good. The bottom line is, one should be able to use their device without fear during the day, and have enough battery life till you're ready to hit the sack.

Yes, two days battery life is great (I get that), but, I just want enough battery life left for when I get home to then place the device on the charger before bed. Thus far, I get this, and I'm happy with that. Who wants to have a charger at work, one at home, and one in the car? Not me...

I think it's pretty easy to get two days with the Plus. That's what I average anyway.
