Another update to my AT&T iPhone 6 Plus order saga...

On 11/26, I received an email saying "Because the color and memory size of the iPhone 6 Plus you purchased is very popular, we have not received the supply needed to fill your order. As a result, your device will now be shipped between December 12, 2014 – December 19, 2014."
They really expect me to wait 3 months for an upgraded phone? I just called in and canceled my order.
Good thing I went and bought a SG 128gb Plus from the Apple store back in October, I actually added a line for it, but I needed to add a line for a new business I am starting Jan 2015 so it kinda worked out. I was planning on letting someone else on my line use the iP6+ that was on order, but now that I canceled, I can go into an Apple store and get one OR just keep my line off contract and retain the $15 credit for data that was taken away when I 'upgraded' back in September.
Anyone else out there STILL waiting for their phone since September? I almost feel like they have been doing this on purpose to me for some reason...
