My phone says back order but gives me a date. Is the date most likely correct?

Which carrier did you order from? You might want to call them. I called Verizon today to confirm delivery date and they said 10/7 which was exactly what my confirmation email said.

The carriers may not know how much stock they have right now, so that date may or may not be true and could change. I know with AT&T pre orders, there is a range of dates from 9/19 to mid November depending on the model.

I'm not getting a date on mine at all. I've learned not to pay attention to T-Mobile shipping dates for preorders but you just might get yours that day.
