    I will be in debt of someone forever who will help me out.

    This is my iphone 5s


    Its running on ios 10.0.2 since a month , (not a jailbreak, i still receive updates from apple)


    Everything was good until last night, this particular area stopped responding


    I have tried rebooting and everything else but vain.
    All functions, hardware and software are 100 percent perfectly working with other part of the screen's touch but that particular area refrains to any reaponse.

    Their is an 10.1.1 update available


    But unfortunately my pass code contains a 0 and it's located in the dead zone.

    I believe @phreddyl was recommending that you use iTunes to restore your iPhone. This Apple Support article should help with that:

    Make sure you have a recent iTunes or iCloud backup unless you're okay with starting from scratch.

    Restoring your device will likely fix a software problem if it is one. I'd set it up as a new iPhone first and see if the problem is fixed. Then you can restore from a backup if you want.

    Do you want your iPhone fixed? If the answer is "yes", then follow the instructions given above. No, it is not a guaranteed fix because none of us can say for certain what the problem is. Having said that, restoring a device and setting it up as new works almost 100% of the time, barring a hardware problem. If you discover that restoring doesn't fix the issue, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and possibly fix the problem. At that point, it'll be safe to assume you have a hardware issue.

    I personally would take it to an apple store. Maybe theres a way they can calibrate it or give you a quick fix right there.

    Dear lord !
    Un my part of the world ,
    Apple doesn't have store or service centers.
    If that had been an option , I would have gone to them instead of coming here.

    I have tried it reseting via itunes
    First it gave error -39
    Second it gave error -54
    Nor its a brick neither it functions well. Stuck i am!

    First it gave error -39
    Second it gave error -54
    Nor its a brick neither it functions well. Stuck i am!
    1. Make sure that the iTunes version on your computer is the latest version.
    2. Make sure that your computer's operating system is also up to date.
    3. Turn your iPhone completely OFF!
    4. Put the iPhone in DFU mode. The instructions are below:

    Turn off the device.
    Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
    Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
    Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
    After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
    Note: Nothing should be displayed on the screen when in DFU mode. Also, if you have an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, use the down volume button in lieu of the home button.

    5. When iTunes detect the device in recovery, select to "restore and update" it.
    6. When the process is complete, you will be met with the welcome screen. Follow the prompts and set up the device as new and NOT from a backup.
