I can't change my email address on my iPhone 5s, how can I do this?

i can't change my email address in my iphone 5s

I recently changed my email address, changed my apple i.d., but i can't change it in my iPhone. A window pops up asking me to log in to my old email address, but it won't let me change it in the phone.

Welcome to iMore! You have to enter your old email address first when you change it. It's a security thing.
