Calendar and event only shows on iPad and not on iPhone 5s, how can I sync them?

calendar an event and only shows on Ipad and not on Iphone 5s

This a new problem for my phone. Always worked before and now it doesn't. I am sure it is something I did. Need to fix it.

Make sure both devices are using the same Apple ID & make sure Calendar is turned on under iCloud for both.
