why is google app on my 5s iPhone taking days to install update

I went to use google and found it wouldn't open and it had written under the button "Installing" That was two days ago. I tried to delete it and it wouldn't do that either so I can't reinstall. Any ideas?

Try resetting your device by pressing and holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Hopefully this helps

You can delete it in Settings.
