were putting in the right pin code but it just keeps saying wrong pin and connect to itunes??

You're probably going to have to connect the iPhone to your computer and restore it via iTunes to get it functioning properly, in my opinion.

If the PIN that your daughter is using does not unlock her iPhone, she is not entering the correct PIN. If she does not know the correct PIN, she will need to put the device in DFU mode, restore the device and then restore her contents from her backup. (She has made regular backups, correct?)
