Blocking numbers

Hi!

Is there a way to block a number without having it in Contacts or Recent calls?
When I try via Settings -> Phone -> Blocked -> Add New... ,it brings me to my contact list and I do not feel like adding unwanted people in there just to be able to block their number :S

If it's a number in your recent call list - block it from there.

Maybe your service provider has options available to block certain numbers without them being in your Contacts on your phone.

I have an entry in my Contacts list named Spam. I have blocked the Spam contact, and just add the numbers to that entry that I want blocked. No names, just "Spam" and phone numbers.

Brilliant.

I have some stored with just a comma or period as the "name", but this is a great idea.

I have an away msg waiting "nice try" for those that are about to join the iggy bin. Yes it be nice to add them before but hey we waited long enough just for the block caller feature.

If I iggy someone's number, but they block their number with their device (Show My Caller ID off), iggy does not work if they call, since my phone cannot "identify" who is calling, right?
