So, I want an iPhone. I have had one before so I know about IOS. I like the size of the 5s. I had a 6, but the 5s is what I keep coming back to. I know the 6s comes out in September, so my question is: will the 5s keep being updated with the latest versions or will it become obsolete?

It will get updated to iOS 9 for sure and probably even iOS 10. After that it might slow down or not have all the features that by then iPhone 7 will have. Good luck.

The iPhone4S will get iOS9 this fall... it came out in October 2011 - the next versions of iPhones will likely get iOS updates for a similar period of time.

The iPhone 5s will be fine; however, I still think a 6 would be your best option, unless you really can't stand the size.
