Guys is it advisable to update my 5s to 8.1.2? Any performance issues like stutters or slowdowns? I'm currently on ios 7.1.2. Should I stay on 7.1.2 or make the jump?

8.1.2 seems fine. I'm on 7.1.2 too and personally, I'm not going to update because iOS 8 is still a little behind in the speed department.

I'm on 8.1.2, on my 5S & iPad Air, and I have no issues with slow downs etc. both have been just fine really.

It's really up to you if you want to upgrade:)

I'm not sure what you guys see in performance in iOS 8.1.2. If you haven't noticed. Yes there are lags, more ram is take up easily resulting in jitters. Performance is not there in iOS 8.1.2. iOS 7.1.2 has the performance though and no slow downs

Not thrilled with the iOS 8 update thus far. I think there are still a few bugs that need to be ironed out. I'll wait to do any further updating.

My 5S and iPad Air are both on iOS 8.1.1 and run very well. I get the occasional stutter and lag, mostly in Safari. But things run smoothly enough, I don't really feel the need to upgrade to 8.1.2.

I have iOS 8.1.2 installed on my 5s and Air2 and I have no problems. I also haven't noticed and speed diffefence between iOS 7 and iOS 8 on my iDevices. My battery was a little better with iOS7 (just a little) on my 5s. All in all I feel as though iOS 8.1.2 is a good update...IMHO.
