Re: How are yours button conditions?

My buttons are all working but I have a scratch on my ringer switch from the first few days I had my phone

I've had mine since January. So far the buttons are holding up much better than every other iPhone model I've owned.

Re: How are yours button conditions?

Never had any issues, but have heard about it more and more lately. I am now using Assistive Touch.

All my buttons work and respond well. The home buttons is dirty from the finger prints but is otherwise functional.

Does using assistive touch draining more battery?

If you get a notification on the lock screen the screen will stay lit longer (at least in my findings)

Had issues with the 4 long time back. Apple replaced them all for free :) didn't have any issues with the 5 and my current 5S. However my ip5 home button had plenty of hair line scratches when I sold it. Thanks to the sapphire glass on the current 5s nothing to worry about :)

Had a bad power button a few months back.. Switched it out at Apple , no question

This is what I was going to say. I would imagine it would only require a trip to the Apple store or a call.

After four different iPhones, I've never had a problem.

My lock button just stopped working so i'm taking it into apple Genius Bar for a repair tomorrow. My 5s is only 5 months old so should be covered.

We all know that after sometime, home or power button may broke, even volume or mute switcher?

How about you, do you have any problems, issues with the buttons yet?

Mine all are working properly, but the home button seems to do very clicky sound.

Actually I've never experienced this on my 3GS, 4S, 5, and 5s.

Neither on my iPad.

All buttons, including the function of the Touch ID, are perfect.

Verified yesterday that a small batch of 5s models have a defective sleep button and my phone was replaced quickly by the Genius Bar. Excellent service apple!

Apple has the best support in the industry. Bar none. SO different from others.

Glad you got your issue resolved!

The touch ID button is not flush and as the same level of the screen as i first unboxed it, after months of use it gets more loose and sits down a little!
