I'm getting TERRIBLE battery life on my 5S. It's actually gotten worse since I got it. Please take a look:

There are a laundry list of items that can affect battery life.

1. background refresh on
2. location services on
3. push email
4. badly written apps
5. constantly surfing

You might have gotten a bad install

Try restoring your device as new using iTunes and see if that helps. Make sure you back up your device first

Looks low. Just from your screenshot I'm seeing crappy cell signal and subpar wifi signal. Both will significantly decrease battery life.

That's an on/off label you can turn on in the accessibility settings.

You could also adjust the time refresh for your email to be a little longer, and disable push, unless the account you deem as important warrants it.

I think it is pretty normal if you are using graphic intensive apps/games for that time. I have seen mine drop significantly when I play IB on the 5S
