Answering phone slidder

I have an iPhone 5s gold and I've been having issues answering my phone calls because the slidder freezes. Is anyone having the same issues?

Some of my friends have had this issue with their iPhone 5. I haven't yet with my iPhone 5C.

It has happened to me before it's pretty random I would close all apps do a hard reset seems to get things going good again

What software version are you running? I experienced problems like that until 7.0.4.

My cousin experienced this I tracked it down to low storage check and see how much space you have left and delete stuff if necessary

My 5 does it once in a while. Not as much as 7.0.4.

I did find when it happened, I could press the home button and it fixed the slider. It's almost like the screen doesn't totally wake up for the call.
