I bought 16 gb. For me I never come close to filling all of that up, so it is not worth it to spend the extra hundred dollars for more storage.

I bought the 16 GB version this time around because I have the 32 GB iPad Air. This combination seems to work out well. All of the memory eating games and movies I put on the iPad and leave my phone light.

I have the 16 also. I have 4 gigs left and I can't even find apps (that I like) to fill that. I may do a 32 in the next go but 16 is all I need for now.

I'd likely go for 32gb of storage because it is a nice balance and should allow for plenty of space for everything you'd like to keep on your device.

I tend to stick to 32 gb (I just got my gold 5s today!). I also carry an iPad mini though so I don't keep any movies on my phone. I don't keep my whole music library on my phone either. I have about 5 playlists of music that I currently like to listen to regularly that I store locally.

32GB for me. I think I fall prey to Apple's ways. I mean 16GB would probably suffice, but I'm like, "I can double the memory for just another $100?" and can't resist. I can resist the 64GB though cause I know I can't crack the 32GB

I was hoping they were going to release a 128 GB this year and was disappointed they didn't I use this as my iPod, tons of apps, and photos, I like to have all of my entertainment available on the fly.

I would say think about how long you will own it. If you plan to have it 2 years and you are hitting capacity on 32, there is 54 GB available on a new 64 GB....future proof yourself.

To me I just think the more gb you have on your iPhone the more stuff your gonna store in the phone and it still won't be enough space.. I went from a 8gb iPhone 4 thinking I need more an now have a 16gb iPhone 5 and it's not enough for me now.. Thinking of bumping up to 32gb on my next iPhone purchase

I didn't have a choice... 16GB AT&T White iPhone 5S supplied by my employer. Unlimited phone and text messaging with a shared data plan. Connected to wi-fi at work and home.

If I was buying for me, I would have bought a 64GB so I can keep all of my music and photos on my iPhone.

I purchased two 32gb, one for my Wife and one for me. The 32gb is perfect for my Wife, but I'm not sure about me, however because I'm going to upgrade to the iPhone 6 next year I'm not going to worry about it now and just get the 6 in 64gb ;)

32GB initially 4 days after launch then stupidly sold for a Nexus 5 that only lasted a week LOL now I'm typing from a 64GB it's perfect! Never going back to Android found that out the hard way selling my 5S in the first place.

16GB Black 5S-- it was free with my 16GB White 5 trade in. I should've opted for the 32GB though since I would've only had to pay $100. Dumb decision of me.

32gig iPhone 5S. Came from an 8 gig iPhone 4 and decided to use my upgrade to a 32 gig mainly because I was only paying $224 for it at Best Buy which is a steal.
