my iphone 5c screen is not turning on. i have googled it several times and it says to restart it using the home button however mine does not work
how can i fix this ???

I don't know but a few things comes to mind.

1. The display is faulty
2. The device is powered off and the battery is not charging.
3. The device is in DFU mode.

Make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and possibly fix the problem for you.
