How to erase all phone numbers from iPhone 5c

Received someone's phone need to delete all contact info. Can I do that all at one time?

Only way to remove them all at once would be to factory reset the phone, but then you lose everything else on the phone. You will have to delete them one at a time unfortunately if you want to keep everything else on the phone.
