Why can't I stay signed into the Google search engine?

why cant i stay signed into google search engine

I recently updated my iphone 5c and now I can not stay signed into google search home page . I start by going on to safari normaly that would give me a link to google and there I would be signed in when I click it . can anyone help me thanks . Sean

I don't know, but I *assume* it's a safety issue. If there's no activity for a certain amount of time, the site automatically signs you out. Still, that's just my assumption. I don't have a Google account to sign into so I don't know for certain.
