Can my 5C use China Telecom's sim for calling?

I have an iPhone 5C (model A1529) brought from HK. Is there any way to make it supporting ChIna Telecom network for making calls? I tried the China Telecom's and found that LTE of China Telecom woked nicely. But I could not make calls. Please help if you have a solution. Thanks.

China's networks are unique to the rest of the world...Apple makes a specific phone model that is compatible with those networks, and networks outside China as well... You might look into one of those.
