IPhone 5c backup and restore question

Can I use an iPhone 5s backup file and restore it into a brand new 5c?

It should work. The backups are tied to your data, not the device itself. That's why even if you backup a device, it will just give you back your data only. It won't restore a former OS,Jailbreak, etc.

I have to say that is an interesting question and I wish I knew the answer..lol but what Septembersrain said has a bit of a point to it. Just don't know enough to say yes.

Yeah, that's why people run their backups onto their new devices all the time. Makes it easier to get their stuff back. =)
