Pairing iPhone 5c to car stereo problems!! Help please!

I am having trouble properly paring an iPhone 5c to car stereo with Bluetooth. I was able to connect it and calling works fine but for whatever reason the contact that shows up when someone calls on the screen is from a completely different person!

Also it won't automatically connect every time I get in the car which is annoying.

Any help!?

Find out if there are any firmware updates for the car's radio system available from the manufacturer.

I guess I should be more specific. The stereo is an aftermarket alpine stereo not a stock car stereo.

Then Alpine's customer service/support web site is probably a place to start to see if they have any means of making their equipment more compatible with the iPhone5C.
