Battery life problems after replacing my battery with new one
Hi all I'm new here and hope somebody can help me out? My iPhone 5 battery has given up so I purchased a 'genuine' replacement from the net. The new battery looked genuine and was a perfect match to the old one apart from the manufacturer date. After installing the new battery following some good clear instructions on the net which was a straight forward process with no problems I now have an issue with my battery life! The battery indicator is frozen at 100% and does not decrease as the battery discharges and it remains that way until the phone dies. When I charge the phone the indecator stays at 2% unless I restart my phone at which point it reboots at 100% again where it will stay until the phone dies. I have tried to soft and hard reset but no luck?? Has this happened to anybody else? Thanks in advance if anybody can help
