Why does the Uber app open when I press App Store?

On my iPhone 5, when I try to open the App Store the Uber app opens. I have tried deleting Uber, but I still get Uber information when I tap the App Store. I have only had this phone for a few weeks. It worked before and I do not remember doing anything unusual,

Sounds like an icon got corrupted - you may need to delete and reinstall the AppStore app on the phone or restore the iOS on it...

Some times the digitiser (touch sensors) may be faulty and need to be replaced to be working again
