Why isn't my device detecting location without internet?

Device is not detecting location without internet.

Hy guys,

IPHONE 5 Taig jailbroken phone. Device is not detecting location without internet. If I turn on wifi or data package then device perfectly can detect but if I am out range from wifi and don?t have data package then mobile will not detect location. It is working on my friend mobile on same location but my mobile is not detecting it in any location . I always need internet. I updated liblocation (cydia tweak) also but it doesn?t work.

Can anyone help to resolve this issue. I don?t want restore my phone as now days jailbreak is not available for new ISO version.

There's not much you can do other than re-load the OS. Either something is wrong with the hardware, or the software has gotten buggered up. It sounds like it's behaving like a device without access to GPS/GLONASS and is just using stored location data of wireless access points (like an iPad).
