Unlocked iPhone 5/4S (Sprint 5/Verizon 4S) activated with an AT&T and T-Mobile Sim Card?

On March 6th 2015 i inserted a T-Mobile and AT&T sim on an unlocked Verizon 4S and to my surprise it activated. About 3 weeks ago when i tried that it told me that the sim inserted was not a supported sim under the activation policy. Something must have changed, can someone with an unlocked 4S try and see if it would activate with either a T-Mobile/AT&T sim? Also the same happened with an unlocked sprint iphone 5

It became law last year that cell phones had to be unlocked under certain conditions... and the deadline for complying came in February... so it's likely the devices you've been using were subject to being unlocked, and the carriers complied.

Thing is that the sprint iphone i unlocked it 2 days ago, the verizon 4s i got it unlocked about a year and a half, and as i stated before it wouldn't activate an AT&T sim but 2 days ago it did and today its still activating. Even Itunes recognizes the At&t sim on the verizon iphone 4s.
