Suddenly the GPS is no longer working after reset network settings, help!
usually GPS works immediately when you open an app that use it (i.e Google Map, Apple Map, weather), the arrow next to the battery shows up right away as soon as the app is open
after i reset network settings, now the GPS is no longer working. Apple Map says 'can't determine location'. when the Map is open, the arrow icon does not show up.
I already reset the phone (drain battery to 0, turn off -> ON the location service, restart), and it seems all apps that are using GPS can't access the GPS.
Anyone experience this before? It's iPhone 5 with 8.1.3

I haven't experienced anything like that with my iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6 Plus. Have you checked the Location Services settings and made sure that those apps have access? Settings - Privacy - Location Services. If you have and if they do then restore your device again, via iTunes, and do not restore from a backup. Set up the device as new.
