I have a iPhone 5, plugged it in an the screen went off and the phone died. I got it to turn on only now it will not charge from my plug, I can charge it off my computer though, but it's very slow, I've had the charger port replaced and it will won't charge from a plug I've tried other cables and plugs too.

Are you using the same wall socket with the different chargers? Does anything else work in the same wall socket?

I've used a number of plugs, now have it charging but takes forever and it dies in about half hour, I've been told it can't be repaired either

Like suggested in another thread- take it to apple and see what they can do

No matter how many times you ask this question, the answer is going to be the same. Take your phone to Apple, No one online can fix your broken phone ...
