Cannot see purchased music in Music on iTunes

I have just got a new iPhone 5 and am having trouble syncing songs from iTunes.

Today I purchased a song directly from iTunes using my iPhone and it is showing in iTunes store under purchased but not showing in my music folder on iPhone. How do I transfer it aceross please?

Initiate the Music app on your iPhone. If the "Songs" isn't already selected, select it at the bottom. Verify that your purchases songs you referenced are not there. If they are, great. Just select them and enjoy the music. If they are not listed, select the "Store" tab in the upper left corner. Now select "more" (bottom right corner) then "Purchased" and then "Music". Tap on the songs you want and then tap on the cloud next to it to download the songs onto your device.
